Ice Cream Factory, 2018

Have you ever wonder about what’s happening inside those auto-machines?

Through this illustration, I built a 100% fully automatic ice cream factory in my imagination. There are little minions–might be ice cream fairies–working inside this factory and keeping people feed. How great they are!

There is a built-in workflow for this factory, but as you know there are always going to be minions who might make mistakes. I really enjoyed the process of conceiving the flow and those interesting interactions between machines and minions. Distributing different jobs for groups of minions was also funny, if I could ever have a chance to be on of them, I GOTTA be the one who squeezes out the ice cream LOL.

For the technical aspect, I tried RealFlow, a third-party plug-in for the simulation of liquid. it was actually rather hard to get rid of all those parameters and get the exact liquid model that you want.

Please don’t forget to appreciate those minions inside the auto-machine next time! :P
