Onion CIty, 2017

My very first C4D illustration.

Back then to be honest I’m just a beginner and it was rather hard for me to fully depict the scene in my mind. As I didn’t maintain sufficient knowledge of model building, I tried my best to construct the city by only using basic geometric shape and fundamental tools in C4D.

Also when facing the problems of materials, I tried the most basic default glossy material which was built in the software. I played with the color palette and tried to add more interesting aspects for this illustration.

There were still lots of problems in this illustration. However, as a debut, I’ve really learned a lot through the whole process. At least it looked nice (or not?). :P
